About the Hosts

Josh Gammon

Host, Producer

Josh Gammon is a Tulsa digital marketer by trade and a movie freak by nature. When he’s not cooking up campaigns at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology, he’s co-hosting So Many Sequels, a podcast that's kinda like grabbing beers with friends who just get why you’re still mad about The Last Jedi.

For Josh, So Many Sequels is less of a podcast and more of a movie club where everyone’s invited. He and his co-hosts swap takes on everything from Spielberg classics to indie films your filmbro friend won’t shut up about. Episodes are packed with trivia, friendly chaos, and the kind of debates that’ll have you yelling at your phone.

When he’s off-mic, you’ll find him at AMC Theatres, Circle Cinema, the So Many Sequels Discord or deep in Reddit threads about obscure film lore. So, if you’ve ever wanted to geek out about your favorite movie, defend a controversial sequel, or just hear someone roast bad CGI…join us. Then slide into the comments. He’ll probably reply with a GIF.

David Prock

Host

David Prock has been a part of So Many Sequels since Season 2, joining longtime friends Josh and Garrett. He works as a digital content producer at News On 6 in Tulsa.

"I actually asked to join the show. Season 1 was such a fun idea, and I told them to call me if they ever covered Indiana Jones. After a few guest spots, I became a permanent member, and we've been going strong ever since."

David's favorite films include A Knight’s Tale, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Prestige, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, The Dark Knight, Star Wars, Ocean’s 11, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Back to the Future. He particularly loves Westerns, animation, and historical dramas. His favorite genre? “Cool Guys Doing Cool Crimes”—heist and crime films featuring smart, stylish characters always a step ahead.

As the team’s resident statistician, David enjoys researching box office numbers, awards trivia, and production histories. "I love learning everything I can about what we’re discussing. The best part of the podcast is expanding my film horizons."
